The police, on Monday, used mild force to remove the members of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) from near a cooperative society office alongside Kumaran road in the city, after a wordy quarrel erupted between the latter and members of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam when they came to file nominations for the elections to the cooperative society’s governing body.
The quarrel began when the DMK and CPI (M) members questioned the procedures followed in the issuance of nomination forms.
