Sixteen officers receive award for best performance during the training period

The Parade-cum-Attestation Ceremony of 22 officers and 165 sub-inspectors including 15 Mahila sub-inspectors at the Central Training College of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Coimbatore was held on Tuesday.

The trained officers were attached to 14th Batch of Departmentally Enlisted Gazetted Officers, 89th batch of Directly Appointed Subordinate Officers and 16th Batch of Departmentally Enlisted Subordinate Officers.

Abhay, additional director general (training) of CRPF, New Delhi, reviewed the Parade-cum-Attestation Ceremony of the trained officers held at the campus in Kurudampalayam.

Mr. Abhay also gave away awards to 16 officers for best performance during the training period.

B.S. Chauhan, Inspector General-cum-Principal of the Central Training College congratulated the officers and subordinate officers.

During their training, the officers and subordinate officers were put through training curriculum in outdoor and indoor subjects. They were sensitised to human rights, gender bias and social issues.

The officers were taught on varied topics from internal security to global terrorism for facing present day challenges.

They were also put through extensive jungle exercises so as to effectively counter anti-national elements operating in the jungles.
