Jayalalithaa cause of financial mess: DMDK

Contrary to the government’s claim, the State was not on the path of development. Its finances were bad and the credit for pushing the State to the last place in the development scale went to the former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam said at its general council and executive committee meeting held here on Wednesday.

In 21 of the 23 resolutions that were passed at the meeting, the AIADMK government was criticised on various issues such as the increase in prices of essential commodities and non-implementation of important projects. In a resolution, the party wanted the State government to take in account all good suggestions of Opposition parties
