K.V. Chowdhary, Chairman of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) probing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials, said here on Sunday that it was not appropriate to comment on the ongoing investigation in the case as it was being heard by the Supreme Court.

“It is not appropriate for me to comment on it as it is being supervised by the Supreme Court,” said Mr. Chowdhary told reporters when asked about the case.

World Telugu Federation

He was in Coimbatore to take part in the 25th anniversary of World Telugu Federation (WTF).

When asked about the reply of CBI officials who have come under CVC inquiry, Mr. Chowdhary said that it was already in the public domain and hence he did not want to comment on that.

Mr. Chowdhary said that the World Telugu Federation was bringing different organisations together to promote and preserve Telugu language, art, and culture.

Telugu classes

Indira Dutt, president of WTF, said the Federation would start three-month Telugu classes in Coimbatore soon.

The federation was already conducting Telugu classes in Chennai and Salem.
