As many as 430 DMK members formed a human chain in the city on Thursday evening as part of a State-wide agitation seeking exemption from NEET for the students from the State.

Presidential assent

The DMK men wanted Presidential assent for the two Bills passed in the Assembly providing exemption from NEET for getting admission to medical courses.

Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, over 1,000 members of the DMK and its alliance parties formed a human chain at Gandhipuram.

The protest was conducted in a peaceful manner.
