Demanding basic amenities, CPI (M) supporters staged a demonstration at Adhigaratty, near here, on Saturday.
A. Sathy, CPI (M) Adhigaratty unit secretary, regretted that work on community hall at Nidikaadu was being delayed though Rs. 10 lakh had been set aside by T.K. Rangarajan, MP.
Stating that bus shelters were needed, he added that a public convenience should be provided in the upper part of the village.
