Coimbatore Bar Association plea to CJ

November 25, 2013 11:20 am | Updated 02:45 pm IST - COIMBATORE:

Coimbatore Bar Association has urged the Chief Justice of Madras High Court to issue orders so that judges who had served for three years in Coimbatore are given a posting in the same place once again. According to M. Loganathan, Secretary of the Coimbatore Bar Association, a resolution to this effect was passed at an urgent meeting of the Association recently.

The meeting also resolved to abstain from attending the First Additional Sub Court until the presiding officer of the court was shifted. The Coimbatore Bar Association blamed the presiding officer of high-handed behaviour.
