CM to lay foundation for new projects at Bhavani

Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami will inaugurate 1,622 projects completed at ₹76.63 crore and will lay foundation for 25 new projects at ₹58.35 crore at Bhavani here on May 13.

He will also unveil the statue of Kongu Chieftain Kalingarayan and open the Mani Mandapam constructed by the Public Works Department at ₹1.65 crore near Kalingarayan Anicut. Also, welfare assistance to the tune of ₹31.07 crore would be distributed to 5,779 beneficiaries at a function to be held at Bhavani Government Boys Higher Secondary School. As former alumni of the school, he will also participate in annual day celebrations. Mr. Palaniswami will also flag off cooperative society’s mobile ATM vehicle.

Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan will preside over the function in which Ministers Sellur K. Raju, P. Thangamani, S.P. Velumani, K.P. Anbalagan, V. Saroja, K.C. Karuppannan, Udumalai K. Radhakrishnan, M.R. Vijayabaskar will take part. MLAs and MPs, Collector S. Prabhakar, District Revenue Officer S. Kavitha and government officials will be participating.
