The Gem Hospital here will host the 8th international conference and workshop on laparoscopic surgery from May 14 to 16.
Faculty from countries such as the United States, France, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong and Belgium are scheduled to address the event.
According to a press release, the conference will discuss the recent advances in minimally invasive surgery.
The procedures will be telecast live from the Gem Hospital to the Codissia Trade Fair Centre, where the conference will be held.
Around 1,500 surgeons and gynaecologists from all over the country and abroad are expected to take part. Delegates from Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia and Gulf countries are expected to attend the event.
