Bus driver suffers heart attack

Over 20 passengers had a narrow escape on Saturday when the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited (TNSTC) bus rammed into a median on Erode - Perundurai Road after its driver suffered a heart attack.

The bus was on way from Salem to Tiruppur when its dirver Palanisamy (45) of Rasipuram in Namakkal lost control over the wheels near Thindal after suffering a heart attack. However, no one was injured.

Erode Taluk Police were informed who rushed the driver to the District Headquarters Hospital. Passengers continued their journey in another bus.
