Actor Ajith Kumar took part in the 10-metre air pistol and 50-metre free pistol competition in the 45th Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship that began at the Coimbatore Rifle Club on July 27. The police had a difficult time managing the fans of the actor who thronged the two entrances of the Police Recruits School on Avinashi Road. Organisers said that about 850 participants from various districts will compete in the event.
Prize distribution will be held on August 2.
