Pre-bookings open for Fiat Chrysler’s Jeep Compass

The sports utility Jeep Compass vehicle can be booked even online

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India has announced the opening of pre-bookings for Jeep Compass which is manufactured in India.

“We are already receiving overwhelming response to our new SUV,” said Kevin Flynn, president and managing director, FCA India.

“We have pulled out all stops to deliver the highest quality standard on the Jeep Compass and we are here to set a benchmark in the Indian SUV space,” Mr. Flynn said.

The pre-bookings can be done by making a payment of ₹50,000, according to the company.

“Customers will experience first-hand, the level of sophistication in the vehicle. Those interested can book our Made in India Jeep SUV online or at any of our FCA and Jeep Dealer network across India,” a statement quoted him as saying.

The Jeep Compass is being offered with two power train options – the 160+ HP, 250 Nm Multi-air petrol and the 170+ HP, 350 Nm, Diesel.

The sports utility vehicle (SUV) will also come with options of the 6-speed manual transmission (petrol and diesel) and the 7-speed Dual Dry Clutch Technology Automatic or DDCT (Petrol). Both these engines will be scalable to BS VI regulatory requirements in India, the company said.

“With more than 50 safety and security features, the Jeep Compass will be one of the safest SUVs on Indian roads,” FCA India said.
