HP sets up new global business unit

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has set up a new global business unit — managed enterprise solutions (MES) — under its imaging and printing group to cater to the growing managed print services (MPS) market. The Indian team of MES will focus on enterprise customers. The company had also sub-branded its product offerings for small, medium and large enterprises separately. MPS is a consulting and outsourced service offered to help enterprises reduce the number of printers and cut printing costs.
