The Hindu November Fest presents to you Subramaniams in Concert, featuring India’s violin icon, L Subramaniam, the renowned playback singer Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, and their family. L Subramaniam, the creator of the Global Fusion concept, is the only musician to have performed and recorded Indian and Western classical music, and also composed for many films collaborated with a wide range of some of the greatest musicians. He has also conducted and composed for many orchestras. He has made his mark in the music industry across different genres including jazz, occidental, jugalbandis, world music and global fusion.

His wife, Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, holds the credit of having worked with four generations of musicians and having sung over 15,000 songs in sixteen languages in various genres. She has left listeners from around the world spellbound with her stage performances, recordings and playback singing for the past forty years. This musical family is all set to offer a beautiful Carnatic fusion with a special appearance by Mahati Subramaniam, grand-daughter of the maestro.
