Marking Uncle Pai’s 86th birthday, Tinkle magazine has announced the launch of Suppandi & Friends, a cartoon channel on YouTube with 100 per cent original content. Rib-tickling stories will feature Suppandi, who can make the most sombre of us break into laughter with his antics and Shambu, the luckiest forest ranger in the world, who have entertained three generations of Indians. They are joined by the Defective Detectives, who create mysteries out of nothing.
In Season 1, the channel will release weekly original episodes, featuring Suppandi’s logical antics, Shambu’s brave triumphs, Defective Detectives’ mayhem-mysteries and Coco’s fun-filled adventures with Suppandi and friends. These episodes, between 3 to 4 minutes each, will reach out to global audiences. Fans, old and new, will now be able to enjoy dozens of videos at their convenience.
