This one is an option for those living in and around Gurgaon with little kids, and thinking of a family eat out on a Sunday. Courtyard by Marriott in Gurgaon has just come up with a Sunday brunch menu at its MoMo Cafe with a separate kids menu as well. The buffet offers kids a wide selection of appetisers like freshly baked breads, eggs, salads, desserts, fresh fruit slushes, candy floss, donuts , macaroons, chocolate dipped strawberries and live cooking stations. Young diners can have a blast in their own separate area.

MoMo Café also offers a variety of board games like balloon art, painting competitions, face painting, craft workshops among others for kids. Along with the buffet, it also provides free access to its swimming pool for kids below 12 years of age.

The other brunch menu is pretty interesting too. It has a mix of dishes cutting across cuisines like Oriental, Mediterranean and of course Indian. There are live stations rolling out interesting dishes around you too. I start with the sushi counter which has a wide variety, freshly made in front of my eyes.

Then there are chicken dumplings coming out of a steam box, hot and succulent. Variety of sauces are offered to pair them with the dumplings.

The offerings at the grill section are tempting too. I get the option of choosing my piece of meat and get it grilled in front of me. The aroma definitely enchances the hunger pangs. Besides trying out the grilled lamp chop, I go for grilled prawns too. Pretty amazing taste.

I try the main course from its Indian menu. The rara gosht and chicken makhini made by Chef Sahil are delicious. Minced lamb with chunks of lamb pieces based in an onion gravy is quite tasty.

In desserts, I am surprised to find 14 varieties here. Cakes, cup cakes, candies, macaroons, badam sewain, doda barfi, rabri, the list is pretty long. I go for freshly made chocolate crepes. Must say, it has a good after taste.

(The Sunday brunch at Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon, is priced at Rs.1500 before taxes.)
