The big fight

Guess what actors Jiiva and Narain are burning their midnight oil for? Martial arts! The actors come together for Mysskin's next “Mugamoodi”, with action sequences to be shot in Hong Kong. And, Narain is thrilled about doing his third film with the director. “Learning Kung Fu is a new experience for me. I'm taking lessons from a martial arts expert every day. We also intend to go abroad for a few more lessons,” Narain says.

Going steady

After projects such as “E”, “Silambattam”, “Thambikku Indha Oru” and “Payanam”, Sana Khan is happy with her latest “Aayiram Villakku”, directed by Hosimin of “Februvary 14” fame. “The wait has been worth it. I've learnt a lot from actors such as Sathyaraj, and also through personal experience. For instance, during the film's shoot, my mother fell ill. Handling both personal and professional aspects simultaneously has, I think, helped me mature as an actor and as a person,” she says.

Twice as nice

Director Murugadoss is thrilled — twice over. His first production “Engheyum Eppodhum” has been declared a hit, with its first week collection making waves in the industry. “I'm delighted at the way things have turned out for me on the production front. I'm just as excited about the audio release of ‘7aum Arivu'. The film will be released soon, and I hope it offers the audience a different experience,” says the producer-director.
