NAQUASH V

Lecturer in Sculpture, 32

What is your most prized possession?

My sketches and drawings, which have subjective memories or strong affinity towards the development of my art practice.

If you were granted a wish what would it be?

To meet and collect information on the embossing community across South India.

Your biggest fear?

I have three: Taking and realising a mould, answering a question, emotional or socio-political and fundamentalism.

What does happiness mean to you?

Doing a site specific art project at College of Fine Arts. I am also happy when I talk to an artist with a vision.

If you could what would you undo?

In the poem, Gandhari Vilapam, I have an instinct to erase or undo the reasons behind Gandhari’s questions. Also, I want to convert all religious architecture into educational institutions and hospitals.

SWETHA PILLAI

What is your most prized possession?

My life.

If you were granted a wish what would it be?

To travel all over the world and peace and happiness everywhere.

Your biggest fear?

Nothing.

What does happiness mean to you?

Being with people.

If you could what would you undo?

Poverty.

ANANTHAKRISHNAN R.

What is your most prized possession?

Family and friends.

If you were granted a wish what would it be?

Successfully pursuing my dreams.

Your biggest fear?

I fear many things but all those fears prompt me to be a better person.

What does happiness mean to you?

Supporting and helping the people around me. Their happiness and love is my happiness.

If you could what would you undo?

A few things in my life; things like taking back some things I may have said to people…

NANDU SOMARAJ

Engineering student, 19

What is your most prized possession?

It would be something that I don’t ever want to lose, or things that make me feel happy, lucky, special, and superior.

If you were granted a wish, what would it be?

To have enough money to turn the dreams of all those around me come true.

Your biggest fear?

Being stuck in the middle of the ocean.

What does happiness mean to you?

Happiness to me is having a family get–together, being loved and cared for, making my parents happy and seeing a smile on someone’s face because of me.

If you could, what would you undo?

Childhood.
