In director P. M. Dhayanandan’s Kundrathile Kumaranukku Kondattam , music director Shankar Ram has roped in Deva, Gana Bala and Ulaganathan to sing a ‘gaana’ song… with a difference. “The song, titled ‘Sunnu Moonu Boomi Pola Bar-a Suthum Aal Naamada’, has been written by Anthony Bhagyaraj and will be picturised on three groups of singers in a bar. This song is unique for its message delivered by Deva in the end. KKK is a comedy subject and right now, we’re in the process of finalising the cast that will consist of known faces,” informs Dhayanandan.

Get on the taxi

Director Lingusamy’s production house Thirrupathi Brothers is usually associated with films that offer good entertainment, and the upcoming film Jigina is likely to be one as too. Directed by Ravi Nanda Periyasamy, this project has Vijay Vasanth and Sania Tara in the lead. Says Vijay Vasanth, “I play the role of a call-taxi driver who regularly transports a set of IT professionals. Realising my inability to find a soul mate, they pitch in to help. In the process, I meet this wonderful girl (played by Sania Tara) but our job profiles and backgrounds are radically different. Will love take precedence or will this love interest turn into a disaster? That’s what Jigina is all about.”
