R. S. Infotainment, along with Sony Music, has brought out the audio album of the film “Ko”, directed by K. V. Anand and produced by Kumar Jayaraman. The audio was recently released amidst much fanfare. Jiiva and Karthika (daughter of yesteryear actor Radha) play the lead pair. Ajmal, Pia and Prakash Raj also star in the film.

According to the director, the story is about a press photographer. Says Anand, “I started my career as a still photographer and also worked for the print media. It was only after I joined P. C. Sriram that I became a cinematographer. As a director, I am happy to have got a chance to bring my real-life experiences to reel. The movie is all about the life of a photojournalist, his family and friends. The dialogues are by Suba and the music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is to be released some time next month.”

There are six songs in the film and there is a positive buzz about them. Harris Jayaraj has again come up with some excellent compositions. ‘Ennamo Yaedho' is a beautiful song, written by Karky and sung by Aalaap Raju and Prasanthini. The rap lyrics are by Sri Charan and Emcee Jesz.

When one listens to ‘Venpaniye', penned by Pa. Vijay and sung by Bombay Jayashri and Sriram Parthasarathy, one can't help but wonder at the success of the Harris-Jayashri combo.

The ‘Netri Pottil' song is proof that lyricist Karky is no novice and can rise to any situation.

‘Gala Gala', rendered by Tipu, Krish, Haricharan and Sayanora Philip, is full of vigour.

‘Aga Naga' is another enjoyable number sung by Vijay Prakash, Tipu, Ranina Reddy, Priya Subramani and Solar Sai, and written by Pa. Vijay. The rap lines are by Emcee Jesz and Srik.

‘Amali Thumali' in the voice of Hariharan, Swetha Mohan and Chinmayi will make one want to listen to it again and again. The lyrics are by Viveka.

The launch took a new dimension, when still photographers from various media houses were asked to receive copies of the CDs and Anand, the photojournalist-turned-filmmaker, clicked their group picture!
