Memories

I lost my mother a year ago. The worst part of it was that I could not even attend the namaz-e-janazah and mayyat because I was in Aligarh at that time, far away from my home town Samastipur. But then, even though she has left me physically, she continues to remain in my heart. There has never been a moment when I have not remembered her. When I fall ill, I remember the song she used to sing for me and then again I am filled with feelings of loss.
