Dinosaur treasure hunt

Once upon a time there was a secret valley full of amazing creatures — Dinosaurs. There was a young T-rex named Rexy. He lived with his six best friends, Spino, Al, Unie, Apato, Dimo and Tricey. But he liked Spino the best. One day, Rexy told his friends that he had found a map to find hidden treasure. The map was of the Treasure Island, past the forest and past the Deinosuchus River and after the Mt. Onoclov and through the Nightmare Canyon and in the Sea Ridge Sand. So, Rexy told the others that he and Spino would go and get the treasure, but the others wanted to go too.

Unie the Utahraptor said, “You guys aren’t going anywhere without us!”

So the seven dinosaurs set off to find the treasure. They went into the forest and it took them 24 hours to get out of the forest. Once they reached the Deinosuchus River, they realised it was full of dino-crocodiles. They swam across as fast as they could. Six of the dinos made it to the shore safely. Al the Allosaurus was the only one swimming until two Deinosuchus came rushing to eat him. Al swam as fast as he could and the others shouted and told him to swim faster. Finally, he managed to jump out of the water just in time. Everyone was happy to be safe. They continued their journey and after another couple of hours they saw a mountain.

Rexy said, “Al, can you show me the map?” They had reached Mt. Onoclov.

Tricey said, “ I am so tired, can we stop here for the night?”

So they rested. The next morning they left Mt. Onoclov. But, as soon as they crossed the mountain, they heard a loud noise. It was a volcanic eruption. They saw huge fireballs and lava pouring out of the mountain. They escaped with a lot of difficulty.

They came to a river but did not know how to cross it. Then, Apato the Apatosaurus came up with a brilliant idea. He said, “How about we make a boat and drift across the river?” They loved the idea. So, they quickly made a log boat, got on it and drifted away. Twelve nights they sailed with no mishap. Then, disaster struck. Only Dimo the Dimetrodon knew what was happening. “Aaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!” said Dimo.

“What is it Dimo? Whats going on?” asked the others.

Dimo said, “Look over there, it’s a sign.”

It says, “Welcome to Nightmare Canyon”.

The Nightmare Canyon was a place where one would want to leave the place as soon as possible. It was filled with dead dinosaurs haunting the canyon. As the six dinosaurs got off the boat, they heard weird noises and sounds. It was the most eerie night ever. With great difficulty they crossed the canyon and finally could see the ocean. This time, they found an abandoned ship and got on board. As the ship sailed, they saw many sand ridges. They saw the last ridge and decided to find the treasure. They started digging into the sand and finally found a box with a key. They opened the box and found the golden treasure. It was Dinosaur Treasure. There were gem studded claws, tusks made of gold and whatnots. All the dinosaurs cheered and said, “We found the treasure and we are going to be rich.” They returned home safely with the treasure box and they lived happily ever after. But for them, this was not their last adventure, they had many more to come.
