A leopard in my school

This is a real story. In July this year (only last fortnight) a leopard came to my school. My class teacher was teaching in my class. Aaya aunty came to class and she informed us that a leopard had entered the school. She warned us to shut the doors because the leopard could get into our classroom and attack us. All of us were very scared. My teacher closed all the windows and shut the door. We heard the roaring of the leopard. My teacher Ms Anshu Bhardwaj was also afraid. She was teaching EVS in that period. Soon, Air Force personnel came to catch the leopard. They had with them guns, a cage, a net and an ambulance. My principal Ms Shamali Basu and teachers and other staff were taking care of children so that leopard would not bite any of the children. Air force personnel started shooting the leopard on its leg because they did not want to kill it. They wanted to catch it. Finally, we heard some guns shots and then we were told that Air Force personnel caught the leopard after shooting it with sleeping darts. It was then taken it in the ambulance. In fact, my Air Force School is situated within the premises of Hindon Air Base and there is a jungle there also. So there is always a chance that wild animals will come into the school. But thankfully no child was hurt and we were safe due to all the efforts taken by my principal, teachers, other staff of school and the quick response from the Indian Air Force.
