Little Angels, MVP Colony, celebrated Republic Day with a host of programmes. After the flag hoisting and National Anthem, school Principal M. Venu Mohan spoke. A cultural programme followed. Prizes were distributed to achievers in many fields and scholarships were given to top rankers.
Ravindra Bharathi School celebrated Republic Day. The chief guest M. Suryanarayana, DEO of Visakhapatnam. He distributed prizes to the first three rankers of the Statewide Talent Test-2010 conducted by Ravindra Bharathi Schools. G.R. Vasantha, Dean of North Andhra Zone of RBS, School principal T. Sridevi and North Andhra Zonal I/C N. Venkatesh spoke to the children.
Oakridge International School celebrated Republic Day at their campus at Tagarapuvalasa. Veteran freedom fighter Battam Sriramamurty was the chief guest. School principal H. Ravichandran spoke on the four pillars of education. This was followed by a spectacular aero model display and other programmes.
