Music programme

Narada Gana Sabha has organised Subbu Arumugam's Villupattu on April 9, 6.30 p.m. at Sathguru Gnanananda Hall. A music programme by the students of Swami Haridhos School of music will be presented on April 10, 10 a.m.

Maha Rudra yagnam

Kubera Ganapathi Veda Vidyarthi Sabha has organised Sri Maha Rudra Yagnam at Sri Varsiddhi Aalaya Pravachana Mandapam, Hindu Colony, Nanganallur (near the bus terminus), on April 10. For details call: 94452 85956; 94446 82989.

10-day utsavam

A 10-day festival for Lord Rama is being celebrated at Sri Oppiliappan Pattabisheka Ramar Temple, Ram Nagar North, Madippakkam, till April 13. The utsavam has been organised by Sri Oppiliappan Pattabhisheka Ramar Seva Samiti.

On the day of Sri Rama Navami (April 12), the ritual will include thirumanjanam at 9 a.m. followed by Aasthanam.

Sundara Kanda Parayanam is at 9 a.m. on April 13 and Sattrumarai at 7 p.m.

Sita Kalyanam

Sriram Bhajan Mandali , Ashtika Seva Samajam Trust, Triplicane, is conducting Sri Sita Kalyanam, April 8-11, at Fund Kalyana Mantapam, Singarachari Street, Triplicane.

Chandi homam

Sri Vidya Maha Sowbagya Parambika Trust has organised Sri Mangala Chandi mahayagnam from April 5-May 1, 5 a.m.-8.30 p.m., at Sri Chandi Yagasalai, Flat No. 36, Civil Aviation Colony, near Kubera Vinayakar Temple, Nanganallur.
