Sakthi Ravitharan is a dancer gifted to have been trained by dedicated teachers Chandrabhanu and Ambika Docherty. Chandrabhanu is known to ensure that his students are perfect in their rhythmic understanding, which was evident in Sakthi's display of talam strength during her Bharatanatyam arangetram.

The young dancer was at ease despite the first piece Trishakthi Vanthanam in talamalika that included rather difficult talas like Kanda Chappu. The composition of Dandayuthapani Pillai was embellished by Chandrabhanu's choreography.

Sakthi next performed to Rukmani Devi's composition of Sarasijakshulu . In the Hamsanandi Jethiswaram, Sakthi used the opportunity to display her technical ability.

C.V. Chandrasekhar's item was unique and captivating. Lord Muruga's peacock was vividly portrayed by Sakthi. The steps and hand movements were synchronised beautifully.

The highlight of the performance was Sakthi performing the Thillana in Chandrakauns and complicated talas.
