At the valedictory function of Community Living Camp organised by Hemadri B.Ed College

Community living camp: The Hemadri B.Ed College, Kolar, organised a four-day community living camp at Morarji Desai Residency School in Parshwaganahalli. Participating as chief guest at the valedictory function, Zilla Panchayat president Rathnamma asked the future teachers to serve society with dedication. She expressed pleasure over more number of girls getting admission in to schools and colleges. College president S.B. Munivenkatappa presided over the function.

Ekta Divas: Sri Devaraj Urs Academy for Higher Education and Research and R.L Jalappa Hospital & Research Centre observed Ekta Divas on October 31 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel. The programme was organised at the Silver Jubilee Hall of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College at Tamaka.

Elocution and essay competitions were held for the medicos on the topic ‘Vallabhabhai Patel, national integration and social security’. Prizes were distributed to the winning students at the function. Academy president and former MP R.L. Jalappa inaugurated the programme. The students took integration oath and conducted a jatha in Kolar town to create awareness on national integration.
