Curtains came down on the 15th annual cricket summer camp conducted by the Reddy's Cricket Academy. The valedictory of the summer camp was held at Reddy's Ground, Madambakkam, on Sunday last. The camp was organised for nearly two months in which about 200 boys took part.
The participants were given prizes and certificates for their performances during the summer camp.
The chief guest at the valedictory function was Dawood Mia Khan, Secretary and Correspondent, Quaid-e-Milleth College, Medavakkam, and the guest of honour was S. Vimala, Chairman of Madambakkam Town Panchayat. Among others present on the occasion were Vasu, Manager, City Union Bank, K. Chakradhar Rao, former Ranji Trophy Cricketer.
Matches were also conducted for women and parents besides Reddy Premier League in four different categories.
S. Saravanan, proposed a vote of thanks. Regular camps are also being conducted by the Academy.
