Ganesh Kumar has scored the music. V. Muthulakshmi is the editor. The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by J. Elvin Bosser.

Music Highlights

The songs in this album do not follow the traditional pallavi, anu pallavi and charanam format. Instead, they are a mix of western music styles and forms such as salsa, reggae, a cappella, avant garde and ballad. All the songs have a carefully crafted vocal backing. ‘Oh my love', written by Divakar is sung by Shalini Singh (pop) and Santhosh. The duet celebrates the triumph of love. This Spanish dance style number juxtaposes voices with acoustic guitar phrases. Divakar has also written ‘Muzhu Nilavu Ondru' which is sung a cappella by Abilash and is about love at first sight. The same lyricist has penned ‘Kadhil Mattum Inbama.' Sung by Krish and Shekinah Shawn, this could be described as an experiment, both lyrically and musically. The song is interspersed with dialogues. ‘Pogamal Oru Naalum,' sung by Vijay Narain, Sruti, Smruti and Shrik, and written by Mugil, has a reggae feel. The campus song has an English chorus by Georgina. The last is a peppy English song, ‘Fallen in Love,' written by Georgina and sung by Tara Kumaravelu. What they say…

Producer and cameraman M. Ezhilarasan: Why 1017 A D for a banner, you may wonder. It is the year when Sri Ramanuja was born and I have a lot of faith in him. I have worked as an associate cameraman with Priyan on movies such as Saamy, Kovil and Arul . I also worked as a cameraman with K. V. Gugan ( Happy Days, Jalsa, Athadu in Telugu and Mozhi, Payanam and the recent Dhoni ). When I listened to Elvin's script, I decided to produce it. As I am a cameraman first, I decided to crank my own film. I shot the movie with a Super 35 camera and tried different colours and angles. I believe Etho Seithai… will earn me a good name as a cameraman first and a producer next.

Director J Elvin Bosser: I am from Tiruchi. After finishing my M.Sc. in Biochemistry, I wanted to become a film director. I joined as an assistant to “Mugavari” Durai and later to director Subramaniyam Siva. Etho Seithai Ennai is my debut. A romcom, the film has music and action in ample measure. After its release, I hope Sakthi will get a big break as a chocolate boy and an action hero. The film with its many twists and turns will sustain audience interest throughout.

Hero Sakthi:Etho Seithai… is a hero-oriented subject. I play a romantic in the first half of the film and an action hero one in the second. I am glad the film offered me scope to showcase two different performances. Music director Ganesh Kumar: Years of learning to play the classical guitar have stood me in good stead. I have done a lot of work in the field of western classical music. After hearing some of my compositions, Elvin Bosser wanted me to score the music for his film. I have experimented with western styles for this album, composing each song in a different genre.
