A book on international chat show queen Oprah Winfrey’s life is set to be adapted into a movie by filmmaker Larry A. Thompson who says finding the right actor to play Winfrey will be a major challenge.

Thompson has acquired the rights to Kitty Kelley’s book “Oprah: A Biography” to turn it into a film, reports contactmusic.com.

“Oprah Winfrey’s fascinating journey from rural Mississippi to the world stage is packed with simple truths and complicated personalities. Casting someone to play Oprah will be the real challenge. We are planning to audition both known and unknown actresses,” said Thompson.

The film will be released some time next year.
