The motion poster of Superstar Hrithik Roshan’s much-awaited Mohenjo Daro is out, and it is appealing. It doesn't show any of the actors. Special mention must be made of the background music, which has a folk feel. Music for the film has been scored by A.R. Rahman.

Soon after its release, the poster started trending on social media as #MohenjoDaro with thousands of viewers liking and sharing it.

Hrithik, who was last seen in Bang Bang in 2014, is reuniting with national award winning director Ashutosh Gowariker for yet another period drama, this one set during the Indus Valley civilisation. The actor and the director have worked together in Jodha Akbar .

Based on romance through the cultures and civilisations of Mohenjo Daro, Gowariker took over three years to develop the film with the help of archaeologists who documented the discovery of Indus Valley civilisation. The film was shot in Bhuj and Mumbai with short schedules in Jabalpur and Thane.

The actor will be seen romancing South Indian actor Pooja Hegde. Co-produced by UTV motion picture, the movie is slated for release on August 12.
