Malayalam actor and director Prithviraj Sukumaran has teased fans with a sneak-peek into his next project with an announcement that has caused much excitement on social media.

A poster that features a hand sporting a bracelet with a cross, and holding a lit cigar stub with the caption that they are coming back after six years, has led to a lot of speculation: that the actor will be teaming up with ace filmmaker Shaji Kailas.

Also, the dialogue used in the poster is from one of Shaji’s old films Narasimham, that starred Mohanlal.

With the director also sharing the same still, there is talk that both of them will reunite for Shaji’s comeback. The two had last worked together in Simhasanam which released in 2012. Shaji’s last Malayalam film was in 2013, Ginger with Jayaram.

He is also known in Kollywood for films like Vaigai Express and Ajith-starrer Janaa.

Prithviraj’s last film was Brother’s Day and in 2019 he also made his directorial debut with the Mohanlal film, Lucifer.
