After a long sabbatical, Govinda is back with “Aa Gaya Hero”. Slated to release this March, it promises to revive Govinda’s charismatic style. The actor is brimming with confidence and has high hopes from the movie.

Tell us about “Aa Gaya Hero”.
“Aa Gaya Hero” is Govinda brand cinema where the audience would get complete package of entertainment, dance and comedy. In our film, we have tried to encapsulate how we play several roles in our life and wait for one right thing to happen. And you know it is my movie, so you need not get serious.
The mainstream cinema has changed over the years, so have you kept in mind the choices and preferences of today's audience?
Yes, definitely I have kept in mind the choices of the youngsters. For youngsters we have some messages. Realizing the right opportunity at the right moment is very necessary. We all start from zero, but the one who realizes the right thing at the right moment becomes a hero.
Is it true that you had to convince your wife a lot for the production of this movie?
Yes, it is absolutely true. I She asked me to sign few movies and I signed nine movies, where I received appreciation and respect for the roles of villain, comedian. These movies were commercially unsuccessful, so I decided to do this movie and asked her to let me do what I am best at doing.
What were the reasons of delay?
It is the first movie of my home production and I am making a comeback after a long interval. So I had to make sure that I don’t leave any loose ends. I wanted to make it perfect, I changed some shots, so that the new generation can connect to it well. I know that my audience has expectations from me; I did not want to disappoint them.
