Newton

The Hindi comedy drama rightly struck a chord by depicting the hypocrisy and failures of governance, especially in Naxal-hit areas of Central India. Rajkummar Rao excels as a sincere Election Presiding Officer, who gets a taste of the truth during his posting there.

This Mafiosi flick was another turning point in the genre after the waves made by The Godfather in the 70s. It’s an all-time favourite for any Martin Scorsese fan.

Wild Tales

This Argentinian portmanteau film showcases the lives of six persons in different scenarios. It depicts an intertwining web of human emotions and blares out the truth that humans are so often fragile.
