Just a day after announcing that he’s going to collaborate with Vikram in Vikram 58 , music composer A.R. Rahman has tweeted that he will next join hands with actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan on a ‘magnum opus’.

Tagging Kamal’s company Raaj Kamal Films International and Lyca Productions, Rahman has hinted at the possibility of Kamal Haasan acting in one more film post ‘Indian 2’ – though Kamal has earlier announced that the Shankar film would be his last as he has actively entered politics.

Kamal confirmed via Twitter that the project in question is Thalaivan Irukkindraan , an earlier film that was shelved and has been revived. Kamal will start shooting for the project after the current season of Bigg Boss tamil 3 in which he’s the host.

"Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation," Kamal wrote on Twitter. "Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew."
