A few weeks ago, it was announced that ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram would be working with filmmaker Ajay Gnanamuthu for his next venture that would be his 58th film. Now, the big news surrounding the project is that composer AR Rahman has come on board to compose music for the project tentatively called Vikram 58 . The film, produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Seven Screen Studio, is set for an April 2020 release. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.
The filmmaker, who reaped success with earlier ventures Demonte Colony and Imaikaa Nodigal, tweeted, “Super Duper excited to have the musical genius @arrahman sir on board. AR Rahman and Vikram have earlier come together for album hits such as Shankar’s I and Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan . Vikram is currently awaiting the release of Kadaram Kondan on July 19, and also has Gautam Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram and RS Vimal’s Mahavir Karna lined up.
