Legendary Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj has choreographed Deepika Padukone’s song her in upcoming film Bajirao Mastani .

The period film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, tells a love story of Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani. “There is a Kathak song in the film. It has been choreographed by Pandit Birju Maharaj. In fact, I was in Delhi for a week for one-on-one sessions with him.”
