The predominantly metal band started off experimenting with Kannada. Sujay says, “People are into independent music in regional languages these days and there is greater reach in terms of audiences’ acceptability as compared to 10 years ago.” Being a Bengalurean, the singer says he feels at home when singing in Kannada. “The effort is to avoid generic sounds and work on melodies which are independent and not commercial.”
