Even as the teaser of Actor Arjun’s film Nibunan has been scheduled for a release on May 15, the makers have decided to celebrate the fact that it will be the actor’s 150th film and have taken to a unique social media celebration of sorts.

The director of the film, Arun Vaidyanathan said in a statement that they had spoken to 150 members of the film fraternity who will be tweeting out the teaser of the movie on the day of its release. “The cast and crew of the movie decided to do something unique given that this Arjun’s 150th film. We want to celebrate this and every celebrity who we spoke to was excited to do this for us,” he said. Arun has previously directed Achamundu Achamundu, starring Prasanna and Sneha, and produced Kalyana Samayal Sadham, which released last year.

On Saturday, the director tweeted out a photo of Superstar Rajinikanth watching the teaser on his laptop. The cast and crew of the movie met him a few days ago and showed him the teaser.

Rajinikanth is set to meet his fans after a gap of over eight years in the city from May 15. The actor, whose 2.0, directed by Shankar, will release in 2018, is said to be starring in Pa. Ranjith’s next movie, which will be produced by Actor Dhanush’s Wunderbar Studios.

Nibunan , touted to be a detective thriller, is also being made in Kannada as Vismaya . Prasanna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vaibhav also star alongside Arjun. The film is set to release later this year.
