Cricket, Bollywood and mourning: Will and Kate’s first day in India

Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge arrived in India on Sunday, with a packed schedule ahead of them.

After landing at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai, the Duke and Duchess first paid their respects to the victims of the 26/11 terror attack. The Duchess wore an Alexander McQueen dress for the event and the Prince was in a sombre blue suit. Photo: AP

The card on the wreath reads: “In memory of those who lost their lives and those injured in the senseless atrocities at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.” – Signed, William and Catherine
