The Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto for the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls will be released in another 15 days, party state unit vice-president Vanati Srinivasan said on Tuesday.

“The manifesto panel, headed by National secretary, H Raja is giving the final touch for the manifesto and it will be released in another 15 days,” Ms. Vanati told reporters here.

“The manifesto will be with a difference,” she said, without elaborating.

On formation of alliance for the polls, she said dialogue with many political parties, both inside and outside NDA, was going on and will be announced at an appropriate time.

On arrests of fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy, Ms. Vanati said after coming to power, NDA government was successful in preventing killing of fishermen.

The government was talking constructively to the Lankan government, she said.

On an appeal by Left parties seeking legal action against Mr Raja over his alleged remarks on CPI and its leader, D Raja over JNU row, she said “some leaders’ style of speaking is different and typical and if they have committed any mistakes, they have to face the consequences.”
