Hundred and raring to vote: Assam’s Nalbari district has 27 centurions

Western Assam’s Nalbari district has 27 voters aged 100 or more. The district’s Deputy Commissioner Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury said special arrangements have been made for the centurions, 14 of whom live in areas under the Nalbari Assembly segment of Mangaldoi Lok Sabha seat, 10 under the Barkhetri Assembly segment of Guwahati Lok Sabha seat and three under the Dharmapur Assembly segment of Barpeta Lok Sabha seat. The district also has 13,786 first-time voters under the age of 20.
