A day after the seizure of ₹1 crore in Sabbavaram mandal, Visakhapatnam Rural Police caught about ₹ 13 lakh of unaccounted cash at five check-posts, on Wednesday.
According to police, during vehicle checks conducted by the police teams at Iruvada Junction in Atchutapuram area, Four-road Junction in Anakapalle, Lingapuram area in Kotlavuratla, Pulaparthi in Yelamanchali Rural, Sunkarimetta area in Anakapalle, the cash was seized.
Meanwhile, at a check-post near Addu Road Junction in S. Rayavaram police station limits, 40 kg of ganja was seized by the police.
