Hassan is a parliamentary constituency in Karnataka state comprising of 8 assembly segments Kadur,Shravanabelagola,Arsikere,Belur,Hassan,Holenarasipur,Arkalgud,Sakleshpur. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Hassan, which goes to poll on 26th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Prajwal Revanna from JD(S) won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 11.06% . Prajwal Revanna defeated Manju A from BJP . JD(S) and BJP polled a vote share of 52.96% and 41.9% respectively. In 2014 H.D. Devegowda belonging to JD(S) won the elections, while in 2009 ,Hassan constituency choose H. D. Devegowda from JD(S). The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 77.35% , 73.47 % and 69.17% repectively.
