Consistent effort, coupled with practice and time management is the key to cracking the entrance exam

For a very long time, both law and management courses enjoyed huge popularity. The reason which makes them a favourite among students is primarily because they are neutral to all streams, whether engineering or humanities. Second, they have huge scope in terms of career and respect in the society. However, it demands a lot of focus for preparation along with perseverance to crack the entrance exams of reputed colleges and universities.

Both law and management courses offer multiple opportunities ranging from paralegal, detective, litigators, lawyers, judicial services, social work and working on management-level posts in MNCs, banks and also starting one’s own business.

Preparing for law entrance exam is no rocket science, and to understand how, it is always better to start preparation a year in advance.

Procrastination creates anxiety and confusion for students, which in turn, leads to lowering their confidence. In the initial stage, the syllabus seems overwhelming, but when segregated and planned perfectly, becomes much easier. Consistent effort makes you more confident. Preparing for such exams require at least few hours of practice every day to crack the entrance exams, which is an addition to a busy schedule.

New amendments

The exam will be conducted offline. The major sections in the paper are general knowledge, current affairs, english, logical reasoning and, math.

The dream destination for most law aspirants, for example IIM Indore, and many other prestigious colleges and universities having entrance test consist of three stages:

Aptitude test: It consists of quantitative aptitude (mixed bag of multiple choice questions and subjective questions and verbal ability (multiple choice questions based on vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and paragraph jumbles).

Writing ability test: A topic is given and aspirants must write an essay on it. This section plays an important role in the student’s overall rank.

Personal interview: It is essential to be very well-equipped in order to get an admission, and one of the keys to cracking these exams is not only to know multiple things but also time management.

The difficulty level of an entrance exam seems to increase because students lack:

Time management: It It is essential for the student to strike a balance between the class XII board and entrance exams. While one is important in order to gain admission based on marks, the entrance exam gives students the opportunity to study in a premier academic institution.

Practice: It is important for students to spare time to put in efforts for constant practice. This will not only make them well-versed with the pattern of competitive exams, but also will help them have an edge over others.

Students should be aware of pain points like vocabulary, which cannot be mastered overnight and requires constant and consistent effort. Improving calculations by using techniques such as Vedic math can be used to do faster calculations and current affairs are also an ongoing process to make or break any competitive exam.
