VIJAYAWADA: Dakshayini (MBA) and Karthik (Viscom) won Miss Bhavana and Mr. Bhavana in the annual cultural fest. ‘Bhavana 2016’ organised by PG students of Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada.
MSc students won the over all championship, which the MBA group bagged the runners up championship. Students of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology won fir prize in the inter-collegiate dance competition, Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada, won the second prize and Maris Stells College bagged third prize in the competitions.
Wins award
Sai Krishna Kota, faculty of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, in Krishna district, received ‘Employability Enunciators of India 2016’ Award from Editorial Board of Rethink India, at New Delhi. College management complimented Mr. Sai Krishna for receiving the award.
Students donate blood
As many as 70 NCC and NSS students of Chirala Engineering College, Prakasham district, donated blood in the camp organised in connection with Police Martyr’s Commemoration Day.
Superintendent of Police C.M. Trivikram Varma presented certificates to the students who donated blood. College correspondent Tella Ashok Kumar, principal Syed Kamaluddin, NCC officer D. Sridhar Kumar, NSS programme officer M. Jaya Kumar and other staff participated.
