Warriors make it 3-0 in the NBA Finals

For 47 of the 48 minutes in the game, it looked like the Cleveland Cavaliers were back in the contest, making full use of their home court advantage with an inspired performance.

And then, in the final minute, it all changed. Kevin Durant scored a brilliant three-pointer before Warriors added four more free throws to win the game 118-113 and take a 3-0 series lead in the NBA Finals.

Eighth-ranked Pakistan upset top-ranked Proteas

Pakistan stringed together a brilliant bowling effort to limit South Africa to 219 for eight in their 50 overs in the Champions Trophy match played at Birmingham.

They then reached 119 for three in 27 overs – enough eventually to win the rain-marred game by the Duckworth/Lewis/Stern method.

Murray vs Wawrinka, Nadal vs Thiem in French Open semis

Rafael Nadal, eyeing his 10th French Open title, will take on Dominic Thiem, the only person to defeat him in clay this year, in a French Open semi-final.

The other semi-final is a repeat of the previous year’s as top seed Andy Murray takes on 2015 champion Stanislas Wawrinka.
