Jenny Bates, Director General, Indo-Pacific at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), along with other dignitaries from U.K. consulate visited TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks Pvt Ltd (TVS ILP) warehousing facility at Redhills in Chennai.
“It is a brilliant thing to be here. I have been so impressed by the dynamism of what I am seeing in the company, the growth you have planned, the innovation you are bringing and also to hear about the partnership with the U.K., it has been really impressive,” said Ms. Bates.
TVS ILP, a leading warehousing player, belongs to the Rajam family and RKS Associates. In March 2021, the U.K. Government’s Development Finance Institution, CDC Group, took taken a significant minority stake in the company.
“On the occasion of the visit, Ms. Bates was given a tour of the state-of-the-art one million sq. ft industrial facility at Redhills, spread across more than 35 acres of land parcel,” TVS ILP said in a statement.
“It is being developed in close proximity to Chennai, the state capital of Tamil Nadu. It houses some of TVS ILP’s marquee clients, having a solid Indian and global footprint,” the statement added.
