Tata trusts induct Venu Srinivasan

Venu Srinivasan, chairman, Sundaram Clayton and Former Defence Secretary Vijay Singh have been appointed as vice-chairmen of seven Tata trusts.

The trustees of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, J.R.D. Tata Trust, R.D. Tata Trust, Tata Education Trust, Tata Social Welfare Trust and Sarvajanik Seva Trust met on Wednesday and unanimously decided to appoint Mr. Singh and Mr. Srinivasan as vice chairmen of all of the said trusts, according to a statement from Tata trusts.

Ratan Tata is the chairman of all the Tata trusts while R. Venkataramanan is the managing trustee. Mr. Srinivasan is also on the board of Tata Sons while Mr. Singh stepped down from the board of Tata Sons after retirement and was inducted as trustee of Tata trusts.
