Tata Motors launches Xenon pick-up

Tata Motors, on Monday, launched the Xenon pick-up. The Xenon will be offered in single and dual cab versions with price starting at Rs.5.44 lakh (ex-showroom Thane) for the single cab and Rs.6.34 lakh (ex-showroom Thane) for the dual cab variant, according to a company statement.

There are four colour options — Arizona Blue, Mineral Red, Arctic Silver and Arctic White.

In a statement, Ravi Pisharody, Executive Director-Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, said, “The pick-up segment is growing rapidly, and we see this trend continuing. With the launch of the Tata Xenon, we are strengthening our existing pick-up portfolio.” The vehicle comes with a three-litre common rail and turbo direct injection options which deliver a top speed of 120 kmph and peak power of 72 HP in the single cab and 115 HP in the dual cab. Tata Xenon single cab also comes with power steering, adjustable steering column, and cushioned bucket seats in front. The dual cab variant comes fully-loaded with features such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), power windows, central locking, and seats with lumbar support as standard fitments.
